Immigration

The France student visa

  • Applications run through Campus France Vietnam before the consular stage — the Études en France procedure is mandatory.
  • You need an admission letter, evidence of roughly 615 EUR per month in funds, accommodation confirmation and health insurance.
  • After the Campus France interview, you file the long-stay student visa (VLS-TS) at the consulate.
  • The VLS-TS acts as a residence permit for the first year and must be validated online within three months of arrival.
