VietRica ("VietRica", "we", "our") provides an online learning platform of guided courses, hands-on exercises, an AI tutor and certificates. By accessing or using VietRica, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before continuing.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or using any VietRica service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all the terms on this page, together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Users under 16 may use VietRica only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who assumes full responsibility for activity on that account.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
You commit to providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when registering. Each individual may create only one account, unless approved by VietRica in writing.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity originating from your account. Notify our support team immediately if you detect unauthorised access.
3.3 One account per user
Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing an account with a third party for joint study or to obtain a certificate violates these Terms and may result in permanent suspension.
4. Course Access
4.1 Free and paid courses
Some courses are accessible for free; others require payment per course or as a bundle. Access is granted for the period stated in the course description (lifetime, 12 months, etc.) starting from the moment payment is completed.
4.2 Per-part access tiers
A course may be split into parts with different access tiers (public, registered, purchased). VietRica may adjust course structure without prior notice, provided that access already granted to paying learners is not reduced.
4.3 Personal use
Course access is granted for personal, non-commercial learning only. You may not share, resell, retransmit, or use the course content for internal training at another organisation without a separate licence agreement with VietRica.
5. Payments, Invoicing and Refunds
5.1 Payments
All payments are processed through third-party payment gateways (PayPal, Stripe, MoMo, etc.). VietRica does not store full credit card details on its own servers.
5.2 Invoicing
An invoice is issued automatically after a successful transaction and sent to your registered email. You may request a VAT invoice by contacting support no later than 7 days before payment.
5.3 Refund policy
- 7-day refund: You may request a 100% refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have completed less than 25% of the course content.
- After 7 days: Courses are non-refundable, except in cases of a technical fault that prevents access and that VietRica cannot resolve within 14 business days.
- Course bundles: Refunds are calculated on the entire bundle, not on individual courses.
6. Completion Certificates
VietRica certificates are issued when you complete all required parts of a course and achieve the minimum passing grade on the final assessments (where applicable). Each certificate carries a unique verification code; third parties can confirm authenticity through VietRica's certificate verification page.
VietRica reserves the right to revoke a certificate if cheating is detected during the course or assessment process (for example: sharing answers, using a proxy account).
7. AI Tutor and AI-Generated Content
Many VietRica courses integrate an AI tutor that answers questions, summarises content, and reads narration aloud (text-to-speech). You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI responses may contain inaccurate or out-of-date information. Always cross-check against the official course material and authoritative sources before applying anything to real-world work.
- VietRica is not liable for damages resulting from sole reliance on the AI tutor's answers.
- Questions and conversations may be retained to improve service quality; see the Privacy Policy for details.
8. User-Generated Content
When you submit assignments, write comments, ask the AI tutor questions, or upload attachments, you retain ownership of that content but grant VietRica a non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to display, store, and process the content as needed to operate the service.
You agree not to upload content that breaks the law, infringes copyright, harasses or attacks individuals, contains discriminatory material, or spreads harmful misinformation.
9. Prohibited Conduct
When using VietRica, you agree not to:
- Download, copy, screen-record, or redistribute lecture videos beyond personal use.
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access the platform outside our official APIs.
- Attempt to bypass security, authentication, or access-control mechanisms.
- Sign in with another person's account or impersonate another user.
- Use VietRica to send spam, distribute malware, or carry out cyberattacks.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on VietRica — including lecture videos, text, images, slides, sample code, logos, UI design, and accompanying materials — is the property of VietRica or its licensors. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
Users are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view content for the duration of their course access.
11. Third-Party Links
Some pages on VietRica may contain links to third-party websites or services beyond our control. VietRica is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of those parties.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, VietRica disclaims all warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose of yours.
In no event shall VietRica's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms exceed the total amount you have paid to VietRica in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Suspension and Termination
VietRica may suspend or delete your account if it detects a violation of these Terms, payment fraud, or upon request from a competent authority. In serious-breach cases, related course access and certificates may be revoked without refund.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Some data may be retained beyond account closure to comply with legal or accounting obligations.
14. Changes to the Terms
VietRica may update these Terms from time to time. Where the change is material, we will notify you by email or via in-app notice at least 14 days before the effective date. Continuing to use the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation; if no agreement is reached within 30 days, the dispute will be brought before the competent court at VietRica's registered office.
